Nutritionist trained in the SOS Approach to Feeding

Food First Therapy's feeding support is designed to alleviate mealtime stress while fostering a child's confidence and competence with a variety of nutritious foods. Our approach incorporates evidence-based methodologies, including the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach to feeding, to assist children with limited diets in becoming comfortable with exploring the properties of various foods. Our comprehensive approach integrates considerations such as posture, sensory systems, motor skills, behavioural skills, social/emotional development, and nutritional impacts, ensuring a holistic and effective therapeutic experience.
