Nutritionist and Feeding Therapist

Food First Therapy's feeding therapy is designed to alleviate mealtime stress while fostering a child's confidence and competence with a variety of nutritious foods. Our approach incorporates evidence-based methodologies, including the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach to feeding, to assist children with limited diets in becoming comfortable with exploring the properties of various foods. Our comprehensive approach integrates considerations such as posture, sensory systems, motor skills, behavioural skills, social/emotional development, medical concerns, and nutritional impacts, ensuring a holistic and effective therapeutic experience.

Meet Chloe Cini

Chloe brings a unique blend of experience and expertise as a Feeding Therapist and Nutritionist. Having started her career as a primary school teacher, she’s always had a passion for working with children. Her journey led her to further her education, earning a Masters in Human Nutrition (Doctorates), and obtaining certification in SOS Food Therapy. This fusion of teaching and nutritional knowledge has allowed her to approach feeding therapy with a holistic perspective to address diverse needs, ensuring children reach their maximum potential in a safe and enjoyable learning environment. With a belief that a positive relationship with food is essential for living, therapy sessions are personalised feeding experiences tailored to help children achieve their unique goals. Ultimately, she is dedicated to helping children and families navigate the often complex world of nutrition, fostering healthy relationships with food.
